Take a map of the world and try to color it so that no adiacent region share the same color. How many colors do you at least need? This practical question has a deep mathematical background. Using graph theory, we will be able to answer to this question.

We will also see some practical applications of such theory in daily-life, for example timetables and radio frequency assignments.
